This selfie portrays images of my cat, a camera, coffee, a pumpkin decoration, and my favorite book. Stormy, my cat, represents my love for animals--even if I am allergic to them. During quarantine I developed more of an interest in photography, and I felt this would be accurately expressed by the photo of a camera. The coffee is gingerbread chai from Brighton Coffee House, and is actually more symbolic of my love for cold weather since it's only available during the winter; the pumpkin decoration is also to show my love of fall, but more specifically Halloween. Finally, "Six of Crows" by Leigh Bardugo is my favorite book; I first read it in middle school, but recently I reread it and fell in love with it all over again. These are just a few of the things I love, but I believe they define me as a person.
I really enjoy seeing the difference between my first image and my last image. I really have improved and learned new things in this class. I chose the quote "The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing," because I feel like that was very representative of my time in this class. I have made plenty of mistakes along the way, but I always learned from them.
